Donations and Bequests

Access Australia Group (AAG) is a not-for-profit organization. All profit or surplus is invested back into the organization to provide high quality, diverse services that meet the needs of our community.

You can support AAG to continue to deliver existing services and create new services by making a tax-deductible donation.

Through charitable giving, supporters of AAG play a role in our efforts to live our mission ‘to enable people with disadvantage or disability to enhance their life outcomes through open employment, training and other opportunities’.

Many donors chose to support AAG by making cash gifts, which provides an immediate and positive impact.  All donations over $2 to AAG are tax-deductible and those of $20 or more are listed in the Annual Report.  Donors can remain anonymous or be acknowledged for their generosity in a number of ways which we can discuss with you.

Unrestricted gifts (general donations) are especially valuable and enable us to purchase new equipment and undertake important projects that enable greater access for people with disability to participate in our programs and the community.

Restricted gifts (targeted donations) benefit specific areas of the service; funds may be channeled to any area of AAG that may be of personal interest to you – Social Inclusion, Disability and Youth Employment Services, Social Enterprise (PepperGreen Farm & PepperGreen Farm Catering) or the Registered Training Organisation .

We will honour your request and ensure your donation is applied to the particular area of your choice.

Memorial Donations

An alternative to flowers at a funeral of a loved one is a memorial donation, which can be directed to AAG and the service of your choice, eg.  Social Inclusion, Employment, Education.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made at the family’s request and envelopes for this purpose area available from AAG.  Please call us to arrange for these envelopes to be delivered prior to the funeral.

Many people, having made provisions for their families, decide to support their favourite charities by leaving a bequest in their Will. Bequests can be designed to reflect your own specific desire to help a community, charity, group or individual beneficiary, or you may like to leave your bequest freely – ‘no strings attached’ – so that the charity can apply the money to the area of most need.

As a donor, you can leave a percentage of your estate or a fixed dollar amount as a bequest.

You may like to name AAG as a residual beneficiary, leaving the organization what remains after specific bequests to loved ones are paid.

If you would like further information on how to make a bequest contact us.
